So, how difficult is it to replace the front grille on the Camry? Well, it depends on the model you’ve got.

On older models like the 2007 Camry, grille replacement is a tougher process since you’ll have to remove the complete front bumper.

At the same time, it is a very simple job on the 2012-17 Camry. As an example, here’s how to change the grille on the 2015 Camry LE:

• Open the hood
• On the cover above the grille, remove the seven push pins
• Remove the cover, followed by three push pins fastening the grille in place
• Gently pull on the grille to take it off the clips; three of them in total
  • Start from one side, followed by the middle, and then the other side
• Fix the new grille onto the clips and add the push pins
• Ensure that the grille in sturdy
• Then put back the cover and the push pins
• Shut the hood and enjoy the new front grille for your camry

Toyota Corolla Grille Replacement

Maybe you’ve got a Corolla which needs a new front grille. If you’ve got an older model like the 2007-13 Corolla, replacing the grille requires the complete removal of the front bumper.

But in recent models, the process is a rather simple one. Let’s say you want to replace the grille of the 2014-19 Corolla.

Here’s what you do:

• Remove the 10-mm bolt in the middle
• Remove the three push pins on top of it
• Gently pull on the grille to pop it off the six clips behind it
• Add the new grille by pushing it onto the clips
• Add the push pins back
• Finally fasten it with the bolt in the middle

But what if you wanted to replace the lower grille on your Corolla? Well the process is a bit more complicated but it can be done in a couple of minutes if you stick to the plan.

Once you’ve removed the grille according to the aforementioned steps, here’s what you do:

• Remove the shield underneath the bumper held by nine bolts
• Remove the bits connected to the inner wall of the bumper via bolts and push pins
• Disconnect the wiring harness from the fog lights
• Safely remove the front bumper
• Flip the bumper and remove the four screws on each side
• Push out all the clips to unfasten the grille from the bumper
• Install the new grille onto the bumper by popping it into all the clips
• Put the screws back into the grille
• Fit the bumper back on after connecting the fog lights again
• Install the shield underneath and add the front grille again

Toyota RAV4 Grille Replacement

• First remove the bumper; start by removing its attachment to the wheel well
• Then gently remove the flap on the fender above the wheel, only up till the headlamp
• Then pull the bumper off the side, and repeat for the other fender
• Remove the bash plate/shield under the bumper, loosening it up for removal
• Disconnect the connections before taking the bumper off
• Take off the wiring harness; includes connections to the radar sensor behind the emblem
• Now you can just remove the grille off the bumper by unscrewing it
• Replace the grille with the new one and put the bumper back on, plus the connections
